Life with the Fraziers

I was sitting on the couch, crocheting, when I looked up and saw this!  She stood herself up for the first time 1/30/14!  Go Ellarie!

Holden and I took an opportunity to make cookies while Ellarie napped.  Baking always seems like a great activity when it’s snowing outside.

Even when she poops all over her clothes and I have to change her, she is just so stinkin’ cute!  Loving that smile:)  Lucky for you I didn’t take a picture of her all dirty.

Looks like it’s time to lower the mattress, she is up on her knees and trying to stand!

Look out Holden!  Ellarie is about to steal your breakfast!

The sun was in Ellarie’s face so it is hard to see how delighted she is to be with Holden but check out how much he makes her laugh.

Just like her brother, Ellarie LOVES music.  She is very aware when a song ends and a new one begins.  She loves to groove to the beat.  We were out at a restaurant yesterday and I thought she was going to dance her way right out of her seat!  Here she is at home dancing away.

Wow, Ellarie has changed so much since the start of the new year!  She got her first tooth,  learned how to clap, started to crawl, and is now in the beginning stages of chewing!  Here are some videos of her progress.

The beginning of crawling (1-12-14)

At 8 months, Ellarie is able to crawl backwards, that’s right, not forwards yet but backwards!  She can transition from all fours to sitting.  She can scoot herself all around to get what she wants.  Ellarie has a crazy case of bed head 75% if the time and she also got her first tooth as well. Ellarie absolutely adores Holden and he continues to be an awesome big brother! She is such a beautiful little girl who lights up our lives every day with her smile.

December was a great month!  We were so happy to have our family together again.  It was a lot of fun preparing for Christmas with Holden this year.  He kept saying that he wished there was just one day until Christmas because he didn’t want to have to wait so long.  We stayed in Asheville this year for Christmas and were so lucky to have our family come down to visit us over the holiday.  Grandmom Vickie, Colleen, Joel, Mom, Ryan, and Uncle Matt and Aunt Gerri all came down, which was awesome!
